Life Story

My wife, Amanda, and I married in 1980. Our daughter Sarah was born in USA in 2000 our son, David, was born in Fort Worth in 2005; and our daughter Lynda was born in Grapevine in 2006.

What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time, I plan what I’m going to do the next time I have free time. Actually, I realize I’ll never get these days back with my kids, so my free time is mostly with Lynda and them. I enjoy running, cycling, watching movies and sports, cleaning my garage, and doing nothing.

Job Description?
We are seeking a full-time Children’s Pastor to minister to children from birth through fifth grade. This individual will be responsible for recruitment, training and development of volunteer leaders in a church of 600. Primary objectives are to evangelize and disciple children and resource parents and families. Individual will implement and oversee the development of Orange Philosophy and oversee all aspects of programming on Mondays and Tuesdays. Successful candidates should demonstrate proven leadership abilities, be an effective communicator, energetic, highly creative, and able to plan and implement programs in a team-oriented environment. College degree and experience leading a vibrant children’s ministry is preferred.
